A Boutique Studio With Massive Sound
Melbourne/Naarm-based Dead on Sound is an award winning post sound studio born from a shared passion for chasing down and designing the perfect sounds. To us sound design is an art, not a technical process.
Starting in the humble abode of a disused morgue (Dead on..huh…huh..see what we did there) we eventually moved to more custom built and comfortable studios in Brunswick East.
We specialise in production and postproduction for film, television and all online content. We believe a collaborative environment is essential to designing standout sound experiences, we make it our priority to work closely with key creative teams.
We provide: Sound design, Re-Record mixing, Composition, ADR, custom SFX recording, Dialogue editing, Voice casting, Voice-over recording (Source connect, Zoom or phone hook-up for remote client monitoring and directing), nonlinear and immersive audio creation and implementation (Stereo to Dolby Atmos 7.1.4, 360 Video, XR, and Game audio using Wwise), podcast recording/editing, audio book recording/editing, location recording and mixing.
We are embracing developments and implementation of A.I and machine learning to increase our efficiency and aid in the restoration of previously unusable audio and increase the creative possibilities os Sound design.
